Welcome to our 3rd unschooling memes of the week. We hope you find the collection we have gathered together useful for promoting unschooling.

ron_paul_unschooling_memeSetting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through the force of arms. Ron Paul

ron_paul2_unschooling_memeThey don’t educate our kids, they indoctrinate our kids. It’s a propaganda machine. Ron Paul.

ignacio_estrada_unschooling_memeIf a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn. Ignacio Estrada.

george_carlin_unschooling_memeHere’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see…We are proud parents of a child who has resisted his teachers’ attempt to break his spirit and bend him to the will of corporate masters. George Carlin.

noah_benshea_unschooling_memeDon’t kiss your children so they will kiss you back but so they will kiss their children, and their children’s children. Noah benShea.

sandra_dodd_unschooling_memeKids who are in school just visit life sometimes, and then they have to stop to do homework or go to sleep or to get to school on time. They are constantly reminded that they are preparing for real life while being isolated from it. Sandra Dodd.

janene_wolsey_baadsgaard_unschooling_memeI am the only one who gave my children a happy mother who loves life. Janene Wolsey Baadsgaard.

sandra_dodd2_unschooling_memeMy world’s pretty cool. It became gradually cooler since I had kids and I tried to figure out how to make their worlds cooler. Mine got the side benefit of what I learned about how to help keep them happy. Sandra Dodd.

kelly_halldorson_unschooling_memeI find many people use the word respect when they are actually referring to obedience. These words have very different meanings yet you see it often in reference to children ‘needing to respect’ their parents as well as in reference to citizens ‘needing to respect’ law enforcement or military officials. It is a dangerous trend. Respect is earned – as it should be – by the actions, kindness or talents of individuals. In contrast, obedience is demanded or expected through the threat of force or punishment from authority. Kelly Halldorson.

joyce_fetterol_unschooling_memeIf you open the doors for them to freely explore they will find their right answers. Joyce Fetterol.
